Learn MoreD’s Wings and dollar bills
For more than 30 years, customers of D’s Wings in Cayce, S.C. marked their visits, milestones and celebrations by attaching dollar bills to the walls of the restaurant. Before D’s Wings moved to a new location earlier this month, those dollar bills—5,139 to be exact—were carefully removed and donated to the Midlands Foundation for CAMP KEMO, led by Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands. When longtime supporter, Ernie Yarborough, asked friends, family and colleagues to help match D’s Wings’ support, more $25,555 total was raised for CAMP KEMO, a camp for children with cancer and their siblings.
