Curing Kids Cancer, a nonprofit organization devoted to funding cutting-edge pediatric cancer therapies, has pledged a historic $5 million to Prisma Health Midlands Foundation to fund research led by Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands and in partnership with the USC College of Pharmacy. With the pledge, Curing Kids Cancer established a new endowment named Killian’s Hope for a United South Carolina.
The Oyster Roast 2026, benefiting Prisma Health Cancer Institute-Columbia
The Oyster Roast, hosted by The Atrium and The Cavalry Societies, is an opportunity to enjoy good food, music and friends – all for a great cause! Benefiting Prisma Health Cancer Institute-Columbia, this year’s event will be held once again at historic Grovewood, just outside of Columbia, on Saturday, February 21 from 4-7 p.m.
