Sparking the Joy of Giving to Children’s Hospital with Boxes & Bows
We’re excited to co-chair Boxes & Bows again this year and look forward to spreading holiday joy in our community, but especially to Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands. Boxes & Bows is about so much more than just festive mailbox swags. It’s about showing our support for the incredible team at our local Children’s Hospital and ensuring every child gets the best care right here in our community. Boxes & Bows embodies the true meaning of the holidays because it offers a way for donors to celebrate the season by giving to those who need it most.
Boxes & Bows sparks the joy of giving this holiday season, so if you live in Richland or Lexington County, now’s the time to reserve your mailbox swag for the holidays at BoxesandBows.org. We’re pleased to offer two options this year. If you donate $60 to Children’s Hospital, your mailbox will be topped with this traditional swag (below) made of fresh greenery and a festive, handmade bow. 
If you donate $85 to Children’s Hospital, your mailbox will be topped with this swag (below) made of magnolia, silver hued cypress and golden cedar, freshly harvested by skilled artisans the day of production and adorned with an elegant, handmade bow. 
The exclusive swag is limited, so hurry! There are specific neighborhoods that are participating, so be sure to see if your neighborhood is on the list. Don’t live in a neighborhood or is yours not listed? No problem! This campaign is open to anyone who lives in Lexington and Richland counties.
Boxes & Bows is really about the patients at Children’s Hospital, so when you participate, we’ll send extra holiday cheer to the kids, on your behalf. A virtual “Holiday Hello” with a special greeting and festive activity will be shared on hospital room doors over the holidays.
Boxes & Bows will close at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021, or until swags are sold out—and we’re well on our way! Swags will be installed on mailboxes by a team of volunteer elves beginning the week of Dec. 6.
