Festival of Trees and Donor Celebration raises more than $440,000 to support Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Midlands
Prisma Health Midlands Foundation extends our sincerest thank you to our donors, sponsors and friends who supported the 2025 Festival of Trees and Donor Celebration, presented by Aflac, which benefits Prisma Health Children’s Hospital—Midlands.
More than 600 guests helped kick off the holiday season on November 22 at Central Energy for the festive affair – known for its selection of curated trees sold during a silent auction.
The signature event also included a Fund-the-Need for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), which cares for the most critically ill children in our community. During the gala, we presented a special video highlighting a Midlands family impacted by the PICU and another family that is inspiring philanthropy in our community. Thank you to everyone who gave during the Fund-the-Need, especially Shane and Emily Beamer’s $50,000 lead gift from the Beamer Family Foundation.
The celebration continued into the next day with Santa & Me – presented by Gregory Electric – a magical morning of holiday cheer. Kids got to take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus; create custom holiday plates (with the help of the Mad Platter team); design their own stuffed animal with the help of Children’s Hospital physicians; create ornaments for patients; and so much more!
In a touching display of generosity, many children even donated their stuffed animals they created to patients at Children’s Hospital.
In all, both events truly displayed the giving spirit of our community – raising more than $440,000 for Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Midlands.
Every dollar raised will go to enhancing patient care and services for families served by Children’s Hospital.
