$2 million Prisma Health Midlands Foundation capital campaign supports opening of Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center

Prisma Health Midlands Foundation thanks donors for their support of a $2 million capital campaign for a new Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center at Prisma Health Baptist Hospital. Because of gifts from Midlands community members, the center officially opened in August 2025 and celebrated its dedication that October.
The new center continues to advance and expand Prisma Health’s current wound treatment in the Midlands area – reducing diabetic limb amputations and the loss of lives.
With comprehensive, individualized evaluations and treatment plans, the center works to identify and address all factors impeding normal wound repair. Advanced resources and technologies allow healthcare providers to continually reevaluate and modify treatment plans to ensure the best outcomes, with a special emphasis on limb preservation.
