Children’s Hospital supporters don their boots and bowties at Festival of Trees and Donor Celebration

Prisma Health Midlands Foundation extends its sincerest appreciation to the donors, sponsors and friends who helped raise more than 440,000 at the 2025 Festival of Trees and Donor Celebration, presented by Aflac.
More than 500 guests kicked off the holiday season on November 21 at Central Energy for the signature fundraiser benefiting Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Midlands. Festival of Trees, known for its curated Christmas trees sold at silent auction each year, also featured a live auction, leather branding station, bourbon tasting and entertainment by up-and-coming Nashville artist Landon Parker.
A particularly special moment at the event was the Fund-the-Need for the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Hospital featuring an impactful video highlighting a local family’s cancer journey. The video was followed by the unveiling of Parker’s new, original song “Big and Strong,” which tells the story of a parent’s admiration of their child’s strength and resilience while facing a serious medical diagnosis.
Prisma Health Midlands Foundation extends its gratitude to everyone who gave generously during the Fund-the-Need. And a special thank you to Paul and Kari Hewitt for making a lead gift to kick off the Fund-the-Need.

The holiday celebration continued Saturday morning with Santa & Me at Central Energy. Children got to to take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus; create holiday plates with the Mad Platter team; decorate ornaments; stuff their own stuffed animals with volunteer nurses from Columbia International University; and so much more. Many children even stuffed extras to donate to patients at Children’s Hospital.
The 2025 festivities concluded on a high note, raising more than $440,000 to enhance patient care at Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Midlands. Thank you to everyone who made this past year’s western-themed Festival of Trees one to remember!
